Dr. Ybarra is a licensed Marriage, Family and Child Therapist, a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor, and a Credentialed Teacher. She is also a Board Certified Expert in Traumatic Stress from the American Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress. Dr. Ybarra facilitates the client’s growth by using holistic and systems approaches that best fit each client. She has experience counseling clients in Community Mental Health, Home Healthcare, Hospice, HIV/AIDS Programs, Schools, and Private Practice. Dr. Ybarra is a published author and workshop presenter. She is a former professor at Ohio State University where she taught and supervised students in Community Mental Health, Rehabilitation, School, and Career Counseling.
