Dr. Ybarra offers
corporate trainings on various topics. One very popular training is entitled
"Keeping Your Cool When Others Don't." ©
She demonstrates how to manage your own frustrations so that you
may also manage the anger of others. Anger is a positive emotion when expressed appropriately. It helps us set appropriate boundaries and take action, when necessary. Dr. Ybarra includes Prevention, Intervention, and Mastery Level skills in her training. She blends aspects of Marshall Rosenberg's Non-Violent Communication training with current research and programs on Anger Management. Dr. Ybarra always stresses the role of consciousness and personal responsibility in all her trainings. Many hours of productive
time in the workplace is wasted as managers and employees alike use valuable
time worrying about and being irritated by issues over which they have
