Free Monthly Lectures:

Dr. Ybarra offers free monthly lectures in Santa Barbara on the first Monday of each month, in a series entitled "Healing With Spirit." © Each meeting consists of a brief meditation, an hour lecture and discussion, and celebration with music and dance. She blends psychology with spirituality to discuss various areas of emotional, psychological, and spiritual healing. The audience participates as much or as little as they choose. There is always an informative handout given at the beginning of each lecture. There is time for discussion of the topic after Dr. Ybarra's presentation. This is followed by a quiet closing, then socializing and celebration.

Dr. Ybarra's topic last July was "Activating Your Healer Archetype to Help Change the World." ©   Many who came could identify with the presented material and had many ideas to share. The gatherings have evolved into a spiritual support group for those who need or desire it. The July lecture was the last one in Dr. Ybarra's first year of offering this service free to the public.
